A new logo for Klamath CSD

KCSD logo

A new logo for Klamath Community Services District was unveiled in preparation for the launch of the public utilities website. The Klamath logo or seal has been designed to represent Klamath CSD and can be used on all Klamath CSD marketing and communications materials. It is designed to clearly identify Klamath CSD in all media platforms, including digital and mobile applications.

Inspired by the rugged coastline, towering redwoods, and the waters of the Klamath River, the Klamath CSD logo emphasizes harmony and connection within the community. The logo depicts an individual canoeing on the serene Klamath River as it flows through the vast landscape of redwoods which has been inhabited by the Yurok people for centuries. Because Klamath CSD serves Yurok Tribal facilities and housing it was important to include elements inspired by the tribe to show their rooted connection  and support within the community.

The logo was developed in partnership with the design team at the Office of Water Programs under the Prop 1 contract. Prop 1 helps provide funds to smaller disadvantaged communities in order to enable transparency for their customers and constituents. This includes the development and establishment of an online presence in order to comply with state laws and regulations.
